MEDUSA

She was the most beautiful maiden of sisters three
Immortal they were except for she
Lust it was that made men greed
Long locks of gold for she had weaved
A goddess she was way up north
For the rays of sun she craved darkness
South she went her beauty shined
Jealousy there was for goddesses down south
A curse it was for the maiden be
Strands of locks turned to vipers
Snakes they were slithering her locks
Beauty faded, ugly grew
To stone men will be with one look of her

'There was once a lady called Medusa,And no man was able to seduce her,Her hair was of snakes,No one's got what it takes,You turn to stone when you look at her.'

I saw you once, Medusa; we were alone. I looked you straight in the cold eye, cold. I was not punished, was not turned to stone - How to believe the legends I am told?...
